Founded by Edgar Ansmann in 1991 and is located at Assamstadt, in Southern Germany, they employ around 200 staff.
Specialists at Amsmann Energy concentrate their efforts on new battery and charging technology, mobile light development as well as suitable accessories. The company has been certified according to ISO 9001 for many years. Expert knowledge, as well as a good portion of “heart and soul” has been put into the products, to ensure that Ansmann have regularly been at the top of any independent product tests.
Ansmann Energy GMBH is represented by their own subsidiary companies in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Macau, Italy, France and Latvia, as well as by Sales Partners in Germany and overseas.
In their large warehouse in Assamstadt, they store more than 4,000 different articles from various product ranges, including; charging technology products, primary cells, rechargeable batteries, digital imaging, mobile lights, racing and custom built OEM products. This is the ANSMANN business unit that designs and produces 100% customised power supplies and battery charging systems for the Industrial sector.
ANSMANN Industrial customers have extensive knowledge in their own core competence, such as Golf caddies, cameras, gardening tools, gas detection equipment and many more applications.
All these technologies need electrical power. ANSMANN provides its customers with the electrical power solutions they require. These may be complete bespoke solutions or may be simple and economically priced modified standard products with a relatively short delivery time.
ANSMANN always has a keen focus on new state-of-the-art technology, for example the latest Lithium rechargeable technology. So any ANSMANN customer can be sure that they have a competent and innovative partner for their own individual power and energy requirements.

GP Batteries International Limited is principally engaged in the development, manufacture and marketing of batteries and battery-related products.
Since its establishment under the Gold Peak Group in Hong Kong, GP Batteries has rapidly expanded to become one of the world's major suppliers of primary and rechargeable batteries. GP Batteries Group is the largest consumer battery manufacturer in China. It supplies an extensive range of battery products to original equipment manufacturers, leading battery companies as well as consumer retail markets under its own GP brand name.
GP Batteries has been awarded the International Headquarters status by the Economic Development Board of Singapore since 1990. R3 Technology
R3 Technology began life in 1992. Its owner, Roy Tuthill had long been involved in the electronics industry starting as an apprentice for a long and well established company and working his way through the business to become the Chief Electronics Engineer whilst still in his 20's.
From there he became Engineering Director for a start up business in which he was also part owner. Using and implementing some of the earliest microprocessors around, this company grew to around 50 staff within 7 years. After selling his interest he enjoyed a 2 year sabbatical during which time he engaged in various projects finally becoming involved in the core business that forms R3 Technology today.
R3 Technology offers a range of products and services from battery chargers through to laser alignment equipment for the Motorsport industry. They also provide a sub contract assembly service for some very prestigious companies such as BAE for whom they are an approved supplier.
R3 specialise in true linear chargers and power supplies and can build bespoke items to a customers own design including battery packs. All products are designed and built in the UK and adhere to the new RoHS directive for lead-free solder.
